George C. Wolfe is the artistic director of the New York Shakespeare Festival. He directed both Angels in America: Millennium Approaches and Angels in America: Perestroika on Broadway. Other credits include Bring in da Noise, Bring in da Funk; The Wild Party; Top Dog/Underdog; The Colored Museum, and many more. He wrote the musical Jelly's Last Jam. Wolfe has been awarded multiple Tonys, amongst other honors, and has been designated a "living landmark" by the New York City Landmarks Conservancy.
