This website is a temporary installation to assist in the development of a new program to be identified as MTME (Music Technology for Music Education), a Master of Arts Program to be situated in the Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions, School of Education, New York University. The program will exist as a track within the Music Education program.
Student and faculty input is encouraged. All suggestions will be seriously considered and implemented where practical and appropriate. This website, by its very nature, will be continually updated. The website consists of the beginning narrative of the proposal, the curriculum, and a recommended course sequence. The curriculum draws upon existing courses in several programs: Music Education, Music Technology, and Educational Communication and Technology (which is sometimes referred to as instructional technology).
