Materials in music education are at the core of the curriculum experience. As
educators, we never cease our search for materials to use in class...images
for bulletin boards, music to use for special occasions or curricular units
in other classes, and so many circumstances and situations that we could fill
pages with such lists. Now the internet provides a dynamic source for finding
sources and materials as well as being a medium where we can publish materials
for our students to use. It also becomes a classroom resource for our students
where they can establish and develop their portfolios that reflect their musical
experiences and growth over time.
