This structure has a cast-iron facade
articulated in the French Renaissance style, although it is in somewhat
poor condition today.
The facade is ornamented with sparsely-leaved Corinthian columns. A
triangular pediment rests above the two central bays and it is flanked by
two
vertical rows of quoins--a testament to the way in which cast iron can
used to mimic the effect of stone construction.
