------------------------------------- What I would recommend is to have the author listing be the primary bibliography, with one entry per record. Sort by author, date and title (or whatever), renumber, and use the record number when printing (you could also number the citations when printing, instead). Then have the subject index be the secondary one with the numbers referencing those used in the main bib. > Dave Klaassen ARCHIVES - MAY THE SOURCE BE WITH YOU > Social Welfare History Archives Phone: 612 624-4377 > Univ. of Minnesota Libraries Fax: 612 625-5525 > Minneapolis, MN 55455 Internet: d-klaa@vm1.spcs.umn.edu -------------------------------------- |----------------------------------------------------------| | Nancy Marie Robertson | | New York University | | | | IMAGINE CLEVER GRAPHIC | | AND WITTY SAYING: | | | | ****HERE**** | | | | robrtsnn@acfcluster.nyu.edu (Internet) | | robrtsnn@nyuacf (Bitnet) | | | |----------------------------------------------------------| =================================================================== I forget the title, too, but I'm certain it's in one of the commonly-available volumes of translated Borges tales.
