Vice President Dr. Alicia D. Hurley in the Division of Government Affairs and Community Engagement is proud to announce the launch of the Office of Civic Engagement. This office builds on the long-standing success of the Office of Community Service and the Office of Federal Service Programs, including America Reads/America Counts, Jumpstart, Public Service Corps and the NYU Community Fund. This office will work in partnership with the Office of Student Activities, which reports to Executive Director Bob Butler to support their rich array of comprehensive services to students. Together, these offices will develop deeper and richer partnerships with local non-profit organizations, public schools, city government, and civic organizations.
