FREE SEASONAL FLU SHOTS:
Your Best Shot for Avoiding Influenza

NYU is offering *FREE* seasonal flu shots to active NYU employees. Getting a seasonal flu shot is important because seasonal flu strains may still be circulating during the Fall and Winter even with the predominant presence of H1N1 influenza (swine flu) in the United States. The seasonal flu vaccine does not protect you against the H1N1 flu virus. However, it is recommended by health authorities that you receive your seasonal flu shot in advance of any H1N1 vaccine that may become available.

* Participants must be 18 years or older
* If you are pregnant or think you are pregnant you must have a note from your health care provider
* If this will be your first time receiving a flu shot we request you allow 20 minutes to remain at the flu clinic
* If you are currently suffering from a cold or have flu like symptoms (fever, chills etc.) we suggest that you wait to be vaccinated
* Please have a photo ID when checking in for your appointment
