General Ledger (GL) Commitment Control (KK) Overview

• Expansion of Single Business Unit (NYU) in v7.5 to multiple Business Units under the NYU umbrella (WSQ and Medical Center) in v9.0
• Upgrading from v7.5 Budget Checking to v9.0 Commitment Control Module. Allows NYU to take advantage of robust delivered functionality (i.e. exception reporting, tolerances and flexibility in applying various levels of budget checking).
• Commitment Control is the ‘center of the universe’ in v9.0 for all budget and actual transactions.
• Bolt-on applications such as JEMS, BIA, AP Workflow and Capital Workflow will be brought forward with the objective of minimizing the impact on the end user
