Student Accounts
In order to be eligible for graduation, a student must be in good financial standing with New York University for all accounts, including but not limited to:
| tuition |
library fines |
| dining |
damages to university property |
| housing |
other charges for services and fees |
Transcript of Record
The Office of the University Registrar will issue official transcripts for all work completed at NYU directly to schools, employers, and scholarship organizations at your request. Be sure to request transcripts well in advance.
It is advisable to request a transcript for yourself before you graduate or send it to a third party. Be certain that your transcript contains no surprises.
Diploma
Your diploma is a certificate of your academic achievement at NYU. It will be sent by the Office of the University Registrar by mail to your address of record about 8 weeks after your degree is awarded.
