The College’s Preprofessional Center offers personalized advising and guidance to prehealth students from across the University, especially during the application year.

The ultimate responsibility for being informed and knowledgeable, developing a strong and well-rounded application, and gaining admission to professional school rests with each student. This website and our reference library present the information you need to make decisions about your prehealth goals and how you will reach them. Our e-mail listserv will keep you up-to-date on volunteer opportunities, research positions, and community service projects.

We also offer workshops and panel discussions on careers in the health professions, writing the personal statement, and interviewing for medical school, and we work with student organizations as they plan their own informative programming. Finally, we interview every applicant to health professional schools and produce a committee letter of recommendation.
