FOR ALL PREHEALTH STUDENTS

September 2009 Hello to all of our new freshmen and transfer students and welcome back to our returning students. Subscribe to the Prehealth Listserv. Instructions are available at www.nyu.edu/cas/prehealth and in Silver #901.
Octber 28, 2009 You may file the faculty comment forms with David McCarthy in Silver 901. The deadline to complete this is 5 pm on October 28th. Latecomers can file their forms in Spring 2010 (See below). Students studying abroad should not file faculty comment forms, but can request formal recommendations from faculty.
December 1, 2009 Students who are applying to schools of the health professions for September 2010 must download the "Committee Interview Packet" from our website (Click on "Prehealth Forms").
January 26, 2010 Deadline for returning the completed "Interview Packet" to Silver #901. Interviews will take place only for those students who have returned the packet.
February - April 2010 Interviews take place with members of the Committee on Recommendations to Schools of the Health Professions. Students must have completed and submitted an "Interview Packet" to Silver 901 to take part in a committee interview.
March 31, 2010 You may file the faculty comment forms with David McCarthy in Silver 901. Latecomers can file their forms in Fall 2010. Students studying abroad should not file faculty comment forms, but can request formal recommendations from faculty.
March 31, 2010 NYU School of Medicine/College of Arts and Science Early Decision program applications for the entering class of September 2011 are available in Silver #901 for all potential applicants who meet the strict academic requirements and criteria. These applications are only available in Silver #901, not from the School of Medicine.
April 28, 2010 Deadline for returning the completed NYU School of Medicine Early Decision Applications to Silver #901.
May 17, 2010 Deadline for all outside letters of recommendation.
