Dear Parents,
On the first day of your daughter or son's Orientation Session, the College of Arts and Science will host a special program for parents. You will have the opportunity to learn more about our Summer Orientation Program, and what you can expect during this important first year at New York University. Representatives from our Dean's Office and professional staff will be available to answer your questions and concerns pertaining to academic requirements, student life, housing, and financial aid.
If you are traveling from out of town, you can contact the New York Convention & Visitor's Bureau at 1-800-NYC-VISIT for a list of hotels. In addition, there are a limited number of rooms in the Club Quarters located in the Wall Street Area, available by advance reservation on a first come, first served basis. The Greenwich Street Hotel also has a limited number of spaces available. For more information about either of these two accommodations please call 212-443-4700; identify yourself as being with the New York University CAS Parents Orientation.
I hope you will take the opportunity to get to know us, and to allow us to begin to get to know you. If you have any questions about the program, please feel free to call us at 212-998-8167. I look forward to meeting you.
Sincerely,
Anita Farrington-Brathwaite
Assistant Dean for Freshmen
