Computer Engineering The objective of the computer engineering program is to providethe student with the skills and understanding needed to design and buildinnovative new products and services which balance the competing requirementsof competitive performance/cost and practical constraints imposed by availabletechnologies. Subjects studied include basic principles and practices of analog electronic circuits and signals, complex digital circuits,mathematical techniques used to represent, analyze and manipulate signals,software engineering and development, and data networks.The program is also designed to provide the student with a firm foundation in the use of oral and written communication and in professional ethics, and to prepare the student for long-term career continued learning and self-improvement.
