From September through April, organizations from a wide variety of for
profit and non-profit industries visit the Wasserman Center for Career
Development (Career Development) and interview both undergraduate and
graduate students in the Class of 2009 for full-time employment after
graduation (excluding Law, Medicine, Dentistry and M.B.A. students).
From February to April, students in the Class of 2010 may access NYU InterviewNet
to obtain interviews for internships during the summer of 2009.
Career Development enables students to manage their on-campus interview
process online through NYU InterviewNet. You can access the system 24 hours
a day to view position descriptions, apply for interviews (by submitting
a resume or through bidding), check your interview status and sign up for
interviews after you have secured them.
To obtain access to NYU InterviewNet, you must create an NYU CareerNet
account, attend BOTH a mandatory OCR Orientation and an Interviewing Skills
seminar prior to attending your first interview, and join the OCR listerv.
These requirements are strictly enforced and you will miss out on opportunities
if you do not fulfill them.
The OCR Orientation and Interviewing Skills Seminar schedules are on NYU
CareerNet. You must register for each seminar prior to attending by logging
into your NYU CareerNet account and clicking on the “Events”
tab and then “Seminars” to reserve your spot.
There are now tutorials for the OCR process located in your NYU CareerNet
account under the Announcements section for your convenience.
