- Pre Health Special Programs/Resources (Simply Click on Postbaccalaureate Pre Med Programs)
The postbaccalaureate program is designed primarily for those students who have taken no science courses as undergraduates. For such students, there are specific courses which it is necessary to take, and generally these need to be taken in a relatively set order. Consequently our program is quite structured. The length of the program varies from student to student, but most postbaccalaureate students take classes part-time, registering for two courses at a time and taking fifteen months to two years to complete their coursework.
- Become a doctor no matter what degree you have with NYU's Postbac program.
Participants in NYUs Postbaccalaureate Program in Premedicine and Prehealth are able to fulfill required courses to gain admission to medical, dental, veterinary, and other health professions programs. Students benefit from intensive personalized advising, participation in internships, and a cocurriculum that utilizes New York City.
