  • Pre Health Special Programs/Resources

The Postbaccalaureate Program in Pre-Health Studies is designed primarily for those students who have taken no science courses as undergraduates. For such students, there are specific courses which are necessary to take, and generally these need to be taken in a relatively set order. Consequently, our program is quite structured. The length of the program varies from student to student, but most postbaccalaureate students take classes part-time, registering for two courses at a time and taking fifteen months to two years to complete their coursework.

Participants in the program are able to fulfill required courses to gain admission to medical, dental, veterinary, and other health professions programs. Students benefit from intensive personalized advising and participation in internships and volunteerism throughout New York City.
