NYU CareerNet is an on-line computer database that allows students to search for on-campus positions, part-time jobs, internships and full-time positions. It is accessible on Career Center terminals and 24 hours a day via the Web.
- Career Fairs
The Wasserman Center offers several career fairs a year, offering international students an opportunity to network with employers from a variety of different industries and learn about full-time and summer internship opportunities. Our annual January Diversity, Summer and Full-Time Career Fair specifically seeks candidates from a diverse and multicultural background to fill the many opportunities available.

The Foreign Labor Certification Data Center allows you to search for specific companies and/or obtain a list of companies who have historically sponsored H1B Visas throughout the US.

Held annually at the Wasserman Center in conjunction with OISS during International Education Week, this is a special seminar for international students providing practical information about the H1-B visa process, job search techniques, and how to handle the visa question during a job interview. The seminar includes a panel of international NYU alumni who have successfully found employment in the US.This year this event will take place on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 6-7:30pm at The Wasserman Center, Presentation Room A.

- Wasserman Center Orientations for International Students
Come to the Wasserman Center to learn all about the many resources, services, and tools we have available for international students. Take a tour of our office to get a feel for the many facilities we have to offer. Orientations take place in both the Fall and Spring semesters. - International Student Orientation
Co-sponsored by the Office of International Students and Scholars, this seminar will highlight key career development tools, resources and services for international undergraduate and graduate students offered through the Wasserman Center. The seminar will be followed by a tour of the career development office.
