Welcome Week
Every year, the Wasserman Center hosts about 30 events during Welcome Week, a University wide orientation week. We kick off the new year with programs for new freshman, transfer, and graduate students, all aimed at helping you learn more about the resources available to you at NYU.

Career Reality 101: Life After NYU Site Visits
Registration is now open through the Student Resource Center Scheduling System. PLEASE NOTE: All Career Reality 101: Employer Site
Visits REQUIRE pre-registration. In the event that you are unable to attend the program you have registered for,
it is REQUIRED that you cancel your registration through the Scheduling System by clicking "Cancel Add to Schedule".

You just started at NYU, but before you know it, you will be asked the inevitable question, "What are you doing after graduation?" Here's your chance to have a fun, stress-free look inside careers by visiting exciting employers with the help of the Wasserman Center for Career Development.
All excursions will depart from the Wasserman Center for Career Development at 133 E. 13th Street, 2nd Floor. Please bring your Metrocard and ID.

City Year New York: City Year
Open to graduate and undergraduate students.
City Year is a non-profit organization that unites young people of all backgrounds for a year of full-time service, giving them the skills and opportunities to change the world. As tutors, mentors, and role models, these young leaders make a difference in the lives of children and transform schools and neighborhoods across the United States. City Year is a proud member of AmeriCorps. Students will have the opportunity to learn about multiple aspects of a non-profit through meeting with staff at our Headquarters from various departments such as Program, Recruitment, Development and Communications. In addition, students will learn about City Year's role in the national service movement and participate in leadership and team building exercises. NOTE: All Site Visits REQUIRE pre-registration. RSVP early, as space is limited. |

New York's City Hall, the oldest City Hall in the nation that still houses its original governmental functions, is considered one of the finest architectural achievements of its period.
