NGO, Non-Profit and Government Career Forum

Travel to DC to learn more about the NGO, non-profit and government organization career paths within the field. This exciting event is held in collaboration with the Women's Foreign Policy Group, The George Washington University and the University of Pennsylvania.

If you are seeking alternate forms of transportation to attend the NGO, Non-Profit and Government Career Forum at The George Washington University in Washington, DC, you have quite a few options as you can see from the list below.

Regardless of which of these forms of transportation you decide to use to get there, please make sure to register for the event through NYU CareerNet in order to be added to the attendance list for the forum. If you do not have an NYU CareerNet account, please visit the Wasserman Center for Career Development.

On-Campus Parking

Closest parking garage is at Colonial Parking, 2200 Pennsylvania Ave., NW (actual GPS address: 944 22nd Street Northwest, Washington, DC). Station 769, $20 for an all day spot.

Parking on campus is currently a challenge due to ongoing construction, so we strongly encourage the use of public transportation. If you choose to drive to GW, a limited number of visitor parking spaces are available in the Academic Center Parking Garage (801 22nd Street, NW; entrance on I Street, NW, between 21st and 22nd Streets) and in the Marvin Center Parking Garage (800 21st Street, NW; entrance on H Street, NW, between 21st and 22nd Streets). The parking fee is $18 per day or for a portion of the day (subject to change). On-campus street parking is available, but it is also limited and time limits are strictly enforced.

Public Transportation
The Foggy Bottom-GWU Metro station is located on campus. As you exit the station, you will be on 23rd and I (Eye) Streets. The station is about three blocks away from the forum location and it offers access to the Metro's Blue and Orange lines.
