Alternate Transportation to D.C. for the NGO, Non-Profit and Government Career Forum If you are seeking alternate forms of transportation to attend the NGO, Non-Profit and Government Career Forum at The George Washington University in Washington, DC on Friday, December 4, 2009 (11:30am to 3pm), you have quite a few options as you can see from the list below. Regardless of which of these forms of transportation you decide to use to get there, please make sure to register for the event through NYU CareerNet in order to be added to the attendance list for the forum. If you do not have an NYU CareerNet account, please visit the Wasserman Center for Career Development. Please register by logging into your NYU CareerNet account and clicking on "Events" and then "Seminars". - Chinatown Bus - Apex Bus - 13 Allen St. (At the corner of Canal St. and Allen St.) Every Hour $20 ($17.50 each way round trip)
- Greyhound Bus - $22 each way: buses at 7:00AM, 7:45AM, 8:00AM

On-campus street parking is available, but it is limited and time limits are strictly enforced. For this reason, visitors are strongly recommended to park in the University Parking Garage. The entrance is located on I (Eye) Street between 22nd and 23rd Streets and the price for parking is $16.
Public Transportation
The Foggy Bottom-GWU Metro station is located on campus. As you exit the station, you will be on 23rd and I (Eye) Streets. The station is about three blocks away from the forum location and it offers access to the Metro’s Blue and Orange lines. See you there! |
