Boot Camp Series


Created in partnership with Morgan Stanley, these intensive career conferences are designed to familiarize students with a variety of industries and to help ease the transition from the classroom to the workplace. Boot Camp participants will:

  • Hear from panels of professionals in a variety of areas within your field
  • Participate in interactive workshops to explore career options
  • Network with professionals who can offer career advice and guidance
  • Understand the transferable skills that make you a marketable candidate
  • Learn industry terminology to use in a resume, cover letter, or on an interview
  • Increase your competitiveness within their field through demonstrated experience in teamwork and leadership activities

Career Boot Camp: From Classroom to Workplace

This one-day conference is designed to provide juniors, seniors and graduate students with information, insight, and practical knowledge about how to deal with real world issues when venturing into the workplace for the first time. Typically held in November.

Business Boot Camp for Liberal Arts Students

This exciting two-day career exploration workshop includes seminars facilitated by industry leaders, leadership training, and networking opportunists. Participants will gain a basic understanding of career tracks in advertising/marketing, consulting, finance, entrepreneurship/innovation and media/communications. Held on January 19-20, 2012. S.T.E.M. Boot Camp

Please join us on Friday, March 23, 2012 for an exciting one-day career exploration conference focusing on careers in science, technology, engineering and math. Non Profit Boot Camp: Skills to Change the World

This full-day conference on March 30, 2012 is designed to debunk myths and explore the realities of working in the non-profit world.
