Resources at the Career Center

The Wasserman Center for Career Development offers enhanced and expanded services available to NYU students, alumni, and employers:

Career Guidance

  • The center houses both printed and visual materials which provide helpful information on career planning, hundreds of occupations, literature on private, public and non-profit organizations, effective job search strategies, and industry specific internet resources.

Study Space

  • Café seating area with free coffee/tea and vending machines for students
  • Quiet study space for individual study or group work
  • Additional late night hours including Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Technology

  • Computer Lab with both Mac and PC computer terminals and printers for resume and cover letter preparation
  • Self-serve fax machine for prompt communication with employers
  • Wireless technology options

Recruitment Resources

  • On-Campus Recruitment Suite with over 20 interview rooms and a large reception area
  • Graduate Student and Alumni Suite
  • Employer Business Center
  • Large seminar and presentation rooms that include seating for over 200 guests
  • Large male, female and gender neutral bathrooms with locker space
