Visiting the NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development early in your college career is the first step in figuring out and achieving your career aspirations and professional goals. We offer personalized career counseling (by appointment), special liberal arts workshops and industry-specific panel presentations, a Mentor Network for career exploration, career publications and handouts, NYU CareerNet (an on-line database listing part-time, full-time and intern positions), electronic resources, career development seminars such as Resumes and Cover Letters That Work, Acing the Interview, Maximizing Your Job Search, Social Media and Networking, and so much more.
For your convenience, the Wasserman Center offers career counseling appointments, drop in counseling sessions, and career-related workshops specifically for liberal arts students at various locations on campus including the College of Arts and Science Advising offices (Silver Center, 100 Washington Square East), the Gallatin School of Individualized Study (1 Washington Place), and the Liberal Studies and Global Liberal Studies offices (726 Broadway).
