LISTSERV PROBLEMS
If you have subscribed to The Center listserv and you are not receiving our
messages, please do the following:
1) If you're a Stern student and you subscribed to The Center forum using
your NetID@stern.nyu.edu email address, check to see:
a) If your Stern account is forwarding messages to your NYUHome account
AND
b) If your NYUHome account is forwarding messages to your Stern account
If you have two accounts set to forward e-mail to each other, you will create
a mail loop, and will not receive the mail at either location.
To remove a forwarding address from your NYUHome account, please see the

2) Check to see that your NYUHome account is not over quota. If you are over
your mail quota, messages sent to you will not be received and the sender of
the message will receive an error. If you bounce too many messages, the list
will put your membership on "hold". If you continue to bounce mail, you will
be removed from the list.

3) Check to see that your NYUHome account is *NOT* forwarding messages to
another account which may be non-existent or over quota. You may have once
entered in a forwarding address to another account. Perhaps you were receiving
mail at your NYUHome account in addition to forwarding mail to another account.
However, if this other account is now closed or over quota, mail will bounce
when sent to that account. Even though you may have received mail from the
forum previously, if you bounce too many messages from the other account, the
list will put your membership on "hold". If you continue to bounce mail, you
will be removed from the list.
