Dear NYU Faculty,
At the Wasserman Center for Career Development we value the opportunity to collaborate and partner with NYU faculty to support students in their professional and academic development. We would like to invite you to explore some of the ways that faculty can connect with the Wasserman Center:
Request an orientation for your students
Wasserman Center staff are available to come to your classroom and provide an orientation to our services to assist students in learning about the extensive career resources available to them through NYU. To submit a request for an in-class orientation, please take a moment of fill out our Off-Site Event Request form we will respond do you within several days.
Take A Tour
Arrange a personal tour of our state of the art facilities at 133 E. 13th Street in the Palladium Building. Our center hosts multi-media presentation rooms, a career-resource library, computer lab, interviewing facilities, wireless internet, and a student café. Participate in our programs
Distinguished faculty periodically make themselves available to participate in our career programs. Opportunities to partner with us can include:
- Career Panels - Serving as a speaker for our career-related
panels
- Workshops & Seminars - Participating as a presenter or
co-facilitator in our career-planning and job-search workshops.
- Employment & Internship Referrals - Faculty often contact
the center to let us know of exceptional internship and employment opportunities
available to NYU students.
Become a Mentor
The Wasserman Center for Career Development Mentor Network Program recruits professionals to serve as mentoring contacts for current students and recent graduates. Mentors provide brief, one-on-one meetings with students enable them to ask career related questions and receive guidance and feedback on their career options.
