NYU Diversity Internship & Career Preparation (The D.I.C.P. Program)
Co-sponsored by The NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development and The NYU Center for Multicultural
Education and Programs, and Goldman Sachs, this program introduces NYU students to career options, develops
career potential and marketable professional skills.
The D.I.C.P. Program includes a rigorous internship training program designed to prepare and promote
historically underrepresented sophomore and junior, undergraduate students for productive and successful
internship experiences in today's demanding workplace.
Thank you for your continued interest in Multi-Cultural Career Programs at the NYU Wasserman Center
for Career Development. Through D.I.C.P., we also strive to connect students to employers, such as you, who
value diversity in the workplace.
We would like to invite you, or a representative from your organization, to share your diversity
initiatives and professional experience at our D.I.C.P. Networking Night on Tuesday, November 10, 2009
from 5pm-7pm at the Wasserman Center (133 E. 13th Street, between 3rd & 4th Avenues, 2nd Floor) in Presentation Room A.
During the reception, we encourage you to provide specific information about your organization and offer
any valuable professional or personal experience. The goal of Networking Night is to present students with
the opportunity to practice their networking skills through a structured activity and become comfortable with
the job search strategy. We also welcome you to highlight any internship/volunteer/work opportunities at this
time or offer any resources that may be helpful to our students.
We would greatly appreciate your attendance at our D.I.C.P. Networking Night on November 10, 2009.
Please confirm participation by reserving your spot through your NYU CareerNet account (under "Events")
