What is included in the fee to attend an NYU Career Fair?
Each registration includes a 4 foot-by-18 inch table, tablecloth
and tent with your organization’s name, as well as food and chairs
for 2 representatives.
Please note: We do not provide special food for dietary restrictions/needs.
In general, we do offer a vegetarian option.
What are the fees to attend an
NYU Career Fair?
Our fee scale can be found on the registration page once
you login to your NYU CareerNet account. If you have additional
questions, please email us at careerfairs@nyu.edu.
Are there any charges for cancelling
an NYU Career Fair registration?
Please note that if your organization cancels their registration more than 4 business days before a career fair, there will be a $50 fee. On or after 4 business days before a fair, your organization/company is responsible for the full amount of your career fair fee.

Where can I get a copy
of NYU's W-9 form?
If you require a copy of NYU's W-9 form, please email careerfairs@nyu.edu.
What qualifies as a small business?
The NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development defines
small businesses as having fewer than 30 employees, being
privately or independently owned and not a part of a large
franchise organization. We will ask for verification and
the classification is subject to our discretion.
I lost/forgot my password. How do I get a new one?
We cannot issue a new password for you. Go to the Career Fair login page and
click on “forgot username or password.” A new password will be emailed
to you instantly.
How do I know that my registration is confirmed?
You will usually be notified within 1 week of the status of your
registration. If you are confirmed, you will receive a detailed email
including information on shipping and other logistics. If , for any
reason, we cannot confirm your registration we will notify you by
phone or email.
I entered my credit card information into the system but my invoice looks like
I haven’t paid. What’s going on?
The first email you receive is an automatic response. You will
usually be notified within 1 week of the status of your registration.
If you are confirmed, you will receive a detailed confirmation email
which will have your manually generated invoice attached.
How do I add an additional representative?
You will be charged a $50 fee to add an extra representative (2 are included with your career fee).

Shipping should be sent approximately 2 weeks prior to the
fair. Shipping MUST be received one week prior to the fair.
Label all packages with the NYU Fair you are attending and
your organization’s name. Your materials will be waiting
for you at your table on the day of the fair.
NYU Wasserman and the Kimmel Center for University Life
are not able to accept ANY packages.
What should I do if I missed the shipping deadline?
Whalen’s does not accept late shipments; NYU Wasserman cannot receive
your packages. We suggest shipping the materials to your hotel or an affiliated
office prior to the event. You can also bring them by hand on the day of the
event.
How do I ship materials back/to my next location after the fair?
If you need to ship materials at the conclusion of this fair, FedEx
and UPS will be available. You must have your account number or credit card
number available.
What time should I arrive for the Career Fair?
Employer registration opens 1 ½ hours prior to the Career Fair. We recommend
arriving no later than ½ hour prior to the event.
Where is the closest parking garage?
If you are attending a Career Fair at the Kimmel Center for Student Life the
closest parking garage is Thompson Street Parking Corp, 221 Thompson St.
How big is my display space?
Your space is a 4 foot-by-18 inch table. Your materials MAY NOT exceed
this.
What should I bring to the Career Fair?
We recommend you bring business cards, job descriptions, a calendar so you can
set up interviews with students and promotional materials about your company.
Also, products that feature your organizational branding are always welcome!
You should also have available a shipping account number for FedEx or UPS in
the event you have materials that you need to ship at the conclusion of the
fair and a copy of your confirmation email.

Who attends an NYU Career Fair? How many attendees usually come?
All NYU students registered in a degree-granting program, or who have graduated within one year, are welcome to attend our fairs. Our fairs usually draw up to 2,000 students across a variety of majors and interests. Please note, the Master's Level Social Work Job Fair is open to students and recent alumni from all 10 participating schools.
Can I post the NYU Career Fair on my website?
Yes you may, but please be sure to include a note explaining that our Career Fairs* are ONLY open to NYU students enrolled in degree-granting programs, or who are within one year of graduation and still possess a valid ID card.
*The Master's Level Social Work Job Fair is open to students and recent alumni from all 10 participating schools.
