We are very excited to inform you about the launch of a new cutting-edge online
networking utility developed by two NYU students. Part professional network, part
social network, BanyanLink (named for the revered "self-networking" banyan tree)
is being billed as the Internet's first Progressional NetworkingTM Website. Different
from the usual staid professional networking site, and more focused than a social
network, BanyanLink is intended to support your ambitions by helping you to connect
and collaborate with your peers, your university career center, and prospective employers.
Your BanyanLink profile will be your personal brochure and marketing plan, helping
you to portray yourself as the complete package of personality, depth, and experience
that is now more important to employers and collaborative partners than ever.
BanyanLink's in-site publication, Quest, will keep you informed and entertained
on an array of topics that fall under the Quest motto: "Progress Is a Lifestyle."
