Events Media Services

The Events Media Services department specializes in non-classroom support in the Washington Square Park area for New York University. While we function on a cost-recovery basis, as a department within Campus Media, we still have many of the same policies and procedures. Our services include, but are not limited to:

• specialized media services equipment and technicians
• one-on-one consultations on technically complex events
• large event productions support, such as multiple-day conferences, lecture series, panel discussions, etc.

A cross-usage of equipment and personnel with other technical departments, such as the Television Center, Telecommunications, Campus Cable, and NYU-TV, occurs as needed. We maintain external vendor relationships in the greater New York/New Jersey area for auxiliary support or purchases. Additionally, we provide demonstrations, trainings, or specialized assistance in the use of our portable or in-room equipment.
