Campus Media offers a broad inventory of audio and video systems, projection equipment, laptop computers (PC and Macintosh), accessories for classroom support and special events, as well as demonstrations and training on the proper use of equipment. The Classroom Media Services department provides equipment and support for official NYU classes that meet in general purpose NYU classrooms and the Events Media Services department supports all non-classroom special events in a variety of venues around the University.

A media equipment request form needs to be submitted at least (2) days prior to your class or event, in order to reserve the equipment or services you are requesting. This form is available online and can be submitted online. Find the appropriate form under the "Request Forms" tab.

We offer demonstrations and training on the use of classroom in-room equipment. If you need help in learning to operate any type of media hardware for activities on-campus, we can schedule a presentation for one or more people. If you are purchasing or installing new equipment for instructional support, we'll be happy to consult with you to identify and select the appropriate technical solution for your needs.

Events Media Services provides specialized media services, equipment and operators for extra-curricular activities and special events such as conferences, lectures and panel discussions. Our event services staff is trained to handle events that are technically and logistically complex. Events Media also works with other members of the NYU community to support live events, which may require teleconferencing, webcasting, and/or video simulcasting.

Student's events requiring equipment or technical support should contact Events Media Services at 212.998.2655 or submit an online Events Media request form.

If you have any classroom support or events media questions, please contact us at 212.998.2655.
