How to make your Summer Housing eDeposit:

If you recently applied for Summer Housing and need to make your eDeposit, it can be made online via the NYU eSuite. If you are not using the eDeposit option and will be mailing in your housing deposit payment, please include your completed Housing Coupon.

Instructions for Current NYU Students:

If you were enrolled in Fall, Spring or Summer classes, you can submit your $500.00 eDeposit by following the instructions below:

  • Visit albert.nyu.edu/students and log in with your NYU netID and password
  • Click Student Center (colored pink)
  • Select View Bursar Account located under the Finances section
  • Select Click here to continue to the NYU Office of the Bursar eSuite
  • Click eDeposits tab and submit payment

You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your payment has been submitted.

Instructions for Non-NYU Students:

If you are not an NYU student, you can submit your $500.00 eDeposit by following the instructions below:

  • Visit albert.nyu.edu/students and log in with your NYU netID and password
  • Click NYU Housing Payments
  • Select Click here to continue to the NYU Office of the Bursar eSuite
  • Click eDeposits tab and submit payment

You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your payment has been submitted.

Instructions to add an authorized user:

If someone else needs to make this deposit for you, you can add an authorized user to your account.

How to View Your Summer Current Account Balance:

(via the NYU eSuite):

  1. Log into NYUHome and click the ACADEMICS TAB
  2. Click the ALBERT LOGIN button
  3. Click the NYU HOUSING PAYMENTS link
  4. On the Transfer to the NYU Office of the Bursar Electronic Suite (eSuite) page: select the link "Click here to continue to the NYU Office of the Bursar eSuite."
  5. Click the VIEW ACCOUNT ACTIVITY button.

How to pay Summer Housing with eCheck:

  1. Once in the NYU eSuite, click the PAYMENTs tab at the top of the page or the green "MAKE A PAYMENT" button on the front page.

  2. Select the “Make a Payment” button again.
  3. Click inside the circle of the “Current account balance.” There’s a blank box next to the amount, click in the box and fill the amount you would like to pay. Click the “Continue” button.
  4. At Payment Method, click arrow for “drop down box,” and select “Electronic checking.”
  5. Click the green “Select Button” at the bottom of the page.
  6. Enter Checking Account Routing number, and Checking Account number. Please note - this account must be a U.S. Checking Account. International Account Holders, click here for payment instructions.
  7. After you read the Terms and Conditions, the check box is at the bottom of the page.
  8. Once that is clicked, the green “Submit” button will appear.  You can also click on the blue links below “Print Agreement” or "Terms and Conditions” to print for your records.
  9. Confirmation and print Receipt

Personal Check Payment:

If you are paying by personal check, the check must be payable to New York University in U.S. currency and be drawn on a bank in the U.S. Please write your student ID number on your check. Postdated checks will not be accepted.

If a check is returned, the student will be charged a $20.00 returned check fee and a $25.00 late payment fee. Students will also be prevented from using paper/electronic personal checks in the future.

Wire Transfer Payment:

If you do not have a U.S. Checking account, you can submit payment via wire transfer.
