With the level of education costs increasing, we are concerned for the student who suffers a serious illness or accident and has to leave New York University before the semester is completed. In many instances it means not only the loss of time invested in studies, but also the loss of the semester's costs.
We are pleased to offer Undergraduate and Law School students an insurance program, the Tuition Refund Plan, which will minimize the financial portion of the loss. The Plan coverage's are designed to extend the University's published refund policy. You may receive credit for up to a 100% refund of covered charges, (subject to insured terms and conditions), even after the University's refund policy has expired. The chart below is a sample illustration of how the Tuition Refund Plan complements our refund schedule for Tuition charges.
| If the Withdrawal Occurs During | The University Policy Refunds | The T.R.P. Refunds | Student Account Is Credited |
