BRONFMANCENTER
The Bronfman Center for Jewish Student Life at NYU

Learning at Bronfman

The educational component of the Bronfman Center aims to balance the value of learning as a social experience with the transformative power of learning as a personal growth mechanism. The student-driven repertoire of classes ranges from Torah to Philosphy, from Talmud to contemporary conversation, from introductory Hebrew to medieval legalists, from traditional modes of study to current methods of critique. The classes, taught by Bronfman's rabbinic staff, aim to address the key questions facing students in the social, academic, and urban environment at NYU. The rabbinic staff offers one-on-one tutorials through which students can pursue their independent course of study.

Our classes are provided in partnership with Kesharim and the Jewish Learning Initiative on Campus (JLIC).
