She has served on the rabbinic staff at the Hebrew Institute for nearly seven years, and has completed the same course of training and examination as male Orthodox rabbinical students. Her curriculum was modeled after that of the male students at Yeshivat Chovevei Torah in Riverdale. She is the Curricular Researcher and Writer for JOFA's Gender and Orthodoxy Curriculum Project. She graduated from Drisha Institute for Jewish Education's 3-year Scholars Circle Program, received a B.A. from Barnard College, Columbia University, studied at Midreshet Lindenbaum in Israel, and served as a CLAL Fellow.
