Arts

Art Gallery
In the Center’s first floor gallery and exhibition space, outstanding student and professional Jewish visual artists showcase their work, host opening receptions, and organize educational workshops and guest speakers. The Bronfman Center’s gallery is home to four exhibits a year. Recent exhibits have included student photographs from Houston, Texas after Hurricane Katrina & a traveling exhibition of children’s drawings from Darfur in partnership with Human Rights Watch. For information on our current exhibit visit www.nyu.edu/bronfman/gallery.
Artists’ Shabbats
Every semester, students in the arts meet and exchange ideas at lively Shabbat dinners. Artist Shabbat dinners host a variety of guest speakers and are a wonderful opportunity to come together and share an evening that offers the chance for an exchange of ideas between artists who are Jewish and Jews interested in the arts. Visit our online calendar to find out when the next Artist Shabbat is scheduled!
Artists’ Seder
At our annual artists’ Seder, students experience a creative interpretation of the Haggadah with the help of guest singers, songwriters, pets, actors, visual artists and filmmakers who come together for a unique celebration of the Passover story.
