IT Service Status

ALERT UPDATE: Systems Availability due to Hurricane Sandy (Updated 11/4/12, 2 pm)

The South Data Center continues to run well on NYU generators; a
transfer back to Con Ed power is planned to take place Monday 11/5.
We do not expect any disruption of service during the transfer. The
East and West Data Centers continue to run well on Con Ed power.

In addition to the previously announced available services (see
earlier updates), the following services are now available:

These PRODUCTION Systems Are Now Available:
Faculty Digital Archive
Luna Image Database
SIS Data Feeds, Turnitin and Live Collaboration (parts of Blackboard)
Web Events Updates

These DEV/TEST/QA Systems Are Now Available:
Hyperion QA
ImageNow Test & QA
MyTime Test & QA

OBIEE Demo, Dev, QA, Prod
DataStage Dev & Prod
EPM Dev, Training , QA

All SIS non-production systems
All fame non-production systems

Other non-production systems will be brought up after the switch from
generators to Con Ed power on Monday.

High Performance Computing (HPC) is expected to be restored by Tuesday, 11/6.
