MeetingMaker PDA synchronization issues persist

(Updated: 11/3 at 1:12 PM)

The NotifyLink service which provides MeetingMaker synchronization to handheld devices continues to experience intermittent delays. Calendar appointments for existing NotifyLink users may take up to 40 minutes to synchronize between MeetingMaker and your PDA.

In addition, users who are currently either setting up their device for the first time, or attempting to process an OTA Load to restore their device calendar from MeetingMaker will be unable to do so.

ITS recommends against the setup and / or re-configuration of any handheld in conjunction with NotifyLink at this time.

We apologize for the inconvenience and are working with the vendor to isolate the issue.

MeetingMaker PDA synchronization restored, investigation continues

(Updated: 11/2 at 7:29 PM)

The NotifyLink service for MeetingMaker calendar synchronization is now operational. Events that were previously queued are now being processed.

Please note: the NotifyLink web client (and administration consoles) for some users may display inaccurate data at this time. Synchronization of calendar events may take longer than usual to process.

ITS continues to investigate with the vendor.

MeetingMaker PDA calendar synchronization unavailable

(Updated: 11/2 at 5:36 PM)

The NotifyLink service which provides MeetingMaker calendar synchronization to handheld devices is currently experiencing technical difficulty. PDAs which synchronize with the NYU's MeetingMaker calendar may not update during this time.

E-mail is still being delivered to PDAs which use NotifyLink to connect to NYU e-mail.

We apologize for the inconvenience. ITS is currently working with the vendor to resolve the issue.
