ITS Application Testing Complete

As of 8:00AM all application servers were turned over to ITS support groups for testing. Testing was a success. All application are available for use. Some continued client testing will commence throughout the day. Data Center move #2 Completed!
Server relocation and connectivity completed for Data Center Move

Servers have been connected and tested by ITS. End User testing to commence Sunday Oct. 25, 8AM.
Data Center Move; Friday Oct. 23-25, 8pm-8pm; Administrative Applications Unavailable

As you are aware, ITS has started the process of moving applications into a space in downtown Manhattan for a new NYU data center. This move is taking place over four move periods: Oct. 6-8, Oct. 23-25, Nov. -29, and Dec. 27-30. We have successfully completed Move 1.
The 2nd move is scheduled for Friday Oct. 23 at 8pm to Sunday Oct. 25 at 8pm. The following applications will be affected;

Special Note to Brio users:
Note that Brio and related reporting (Financial Reporting, HR Reporting, etc.) will continue to be available during this weekend's Data Center move, but not accessible through the Admin Services page. To access Brio directly this weekend, you can use the following direct link: http://www.nyu.edu/hps
High Performance Computing (HPC) will also be unavailable beginning Thurs. 10/22 4pm through Fri. 10/30 5pm. As the Data Center move progresses we will provide updates where possible when systems are operational again.
The move dates have been confirmed with the offices that manage these systems. Pre-move work has been taking place over the last few weeks. We appreciate your support.
