The 2017 Global Arts Conference is an exciting initiative to bring together arts faculty from across the entire global network to meet in person, exchange ideas, discover mutual interests, and generate creative and scholarly interaction among NYU faculty working in different but related arts fields. Based on the idea of the Gesamtkunstwerk (a work combining all arts), the NYU Global Arts Conference will engage multiple mediums, including theater, music, and the visual arts, while also taking advantage of Berlin's vibrant art scene.
We are looking forward to meeting (or renewing) contact with our colleagues from across this far-flung university, and to creating a new, more dynamic relationship among different arts and different departments.
