Men Cross Country's Abdallah Takes Home UAA Athlete of the Week

New York University senior tri-captain Hany Abdallah was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Men' Cross Country Athlete of the Week after his solid performance at the NCAA Division III Atlantic Regional Championships at Van Cortlandt Park.

Abdallah placed second in a field of 271 runners, leading the Violets as they successfully defended their Atlantic Regional Championships team title. He ran the 8,000 meter course in a time of 24:29.7, as the Violets earned a berth in the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championship.

The Championship will be held this Saturday, November 17 at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN at 1:00PM.
