Wrestling's Magill Named UAA Athlete of the Week

New York University freshman wrestler Matt Magill was named the University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.

Magill, who wrestles at 149 pounds, registered the team's lone fall of the match as #27-ranked NYU (Brute-Adidas National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III Poll) defeated #24-ranked Centenary College 29-9 on Saturday at the Coles Sports Center.

Magill recorded the fall at the 2:30 mark as he improved his season record to 11-9.

NYU is now 4-1 in dual matches this season.
