Men's Volleyball's Zolnowski Named EIVA Hay Player of Week Again

New York University junior Devin Zolnowski captured his fourth Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (EIVA) Hay Division Player of the Week award after leading the Violets to a 3-0 mark last week.

Zolnowski averaged 5.25 points, 4.83 kills and 1.50 digs while hitting .319 as the Violets (13-5, 4-1 EIVA Hay) posted victories over Division III power Stevens Institute of Technology, Hay Division foe and Division III juggernaut Springfield College, and Hay rival and Division I Sacred Heart University.

After recording 17 kills, eight digs and two blocks against Stevens on Feb. 26, Zolnowki put down 22 kills and added 10 digs as NYU overcame a 2-1 deficit against Springfield. To cap the week, the 6-5 junior from Bridgewater, NJ, hit .419 while spiking 19 kills to sweep Sacred Heart.
