Men's Volleyball's Zolnowski Selected EIVA Hay Player of the Week

New York University junior tri-captain and outside hitter Devin Zolnowski was selected as the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (EIVA) Hay Division Player of the Week for the third second time this season on Tuesday.

In the Violets' (7-5) lone match last week, a 3-1 loss at Princeton University on Feb. 12, Zolnowski threw down 22 kills, compiled 23 points and added seven digs while hitting .283.

This is the third time this season the 6-5 native of Bridgewater, NJ, has earned EIVA Hay Division Player of the Week honors, as he was also feted on Jan. 15 and Jan. 22. He was also named the American Volleyball Coaches (AVCA) Association Division III National Player of the Week on Jan. 14.

In 2007, Zolnowski was a Second Team EIVA Division III All-Star.

Ranked #6 in the CSTV/AVCA Division III Men's Top 15 Coaches Poll, NYU returns to action Wednesday, Jan. 20, when it hosts the University of New Haven at 7 p.m.
