Women's Track Completes Competition at UAA Indoor Championships

The New York University women's track and field team completed the final day of competition at the 2008 University Athletic Association (UAA) Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.

Once again, the Violets got a point from one of their relay teams, as their 4x400 entry took sixth in 4:15.59. Sophomore Kathryn Shannon, freshman Kristin Marshall, freshman Kiley Bunce, and senior Beatrix Jackson each ran a leg for NYU.

Bunce also placed sixth in the high jump on Friday, while Jackson was part of a sixth-place performance in the distance medley relay on the first day of competition.

Overall, the Violets totaled three points to finish seventh in the team race.
