
Men's T&F Competes at Wagner

The New York University men's track & field team competed at the Wagner College Invitational on Staten Island, NY, on Saturday, March 29.
Although there was no team scoring at the meet, several Violets produce noteworthy results.
NYU's 4x800m relay team of juniors Mark Hess, Andrew Fouratt, Bernier Lauredan, Jr., and Jay McDevitt placed second with a time of 8:21.56.
Lauredan, Jr. and Fouratt placed fourth (4:09.19) and seventh (4:10.50), respectively, in the 1,500m.
The Violets' 4x400m foursome of junior Maciej Szelazek, senior Jean Blardony, senior Nile Nahar-Brown, and Hess finished third in a time of 3:33.67.
Szelazek also placed third in the 800m (2:02.09), while Nahar-Brown was fifth (2:02.45).
The team returns to action on Friday, April 4, at the Sam Howell Invitational in Princeton, NJ, and on Saturday, April 5, in Philadelphia, PA, at the University of Pennsylvania Invitational.
