Men Track & Field Team Competes at Lafayette/Rider Invitational

The New York University men's track & field team competed at the Lafayette/Rider Invitational at the New Balance Track and Field Center in Manhattan on Friday, February 15.
There was no team scoring at the meet.
Three Violets finished among the top-20 in the mile and in the 1,000 meter events.
In the mile, senior Spenser Popeson took 13th place (4:19.20), senior Ryan Williams was 18th (4:22.27), and junior Geoffrey McGrane grabbed 20th place (4:23.39).
In the 1,000 meters, juniors Andrew Fouratt and Mark Hess finished 16th (2:40.39) and 17th (2:40.89), respectively, while freshman Sebastian Schwelm took 20th (2:43.46).
Sophomore Calvin Lee was 15th in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:55.64.
