
Men’s Tennis Blanks Hobart

The New York University men's tennis team blanked Hobart College 9-0 on Saturday, March 29, in Geneva, NY.
The Violets (3-6) were in top form, sweeping all six singles matches, as well as all three doubles matches.
Senior captain Mikhail Gurevich, who is currently ranked #16 in the Northeast region, defeated Hobart’s Charlie Davis 6-3, 6-2 in the #1 singles match. Gurevich then teamed up with junior Craig Berger and was victorious in the #1 doubles match 9-7 over Hobart’s Harry King and Charlie Davis.
Junior Calvin Chou and freshman Matthew Gross won the #2 doubles match and are 3-2 overall this season as a pair. Chou, who is ranked #22 in the regional, also won his #2 singles match defeating Hobart’s Adam Cohn 6-1,6-0 in the.
The Violets return to the court tomorrow to compete against Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY.
