Men's Tennis Falls Against Bates College

The New York University men's tennis team fell for the first time at the Middlebury College Invitational, losing to Bates College 8-1 on Saturday, March 8, in Middlebury, VT.

The Violets (2-5) dropped all three doubles matches to the Bobcats and five of six singles matches.

Junior Craig Berger pulled out the only win for NYU, defeating Michael Reiss 6-4, 7-6 (5) in #3 singles.

The Violets conclude their weekend in Vermont when they take on host and #6-ranked (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) Middlebury College tomorrow at 8:30 am.
