Men's Tennis Falls at Salisbury

The New York University men's tennis team lost its first match of the 2008 spring season, falling at Salisbury University 7-2 on Friday, February 29, in Salisbury, MD.

The Violets dropped all three doubles matches to the Sea Gulls, but collected two singles victories.

Senior co-captain Mikhail Gurevich won his match at #1 singles, while sophomore P.J. Marranca won his #6 singles tilt.

The Violets are now 1-1 in the spring and 1-2 overall in 2007-08.

The squad returns to action on Saturday, March 1, when it faces Christopher Newport University at 1pm, also at Salisbury.
