Women's Diving's Peters Selected as UAA Athlete of the Week

New York University junior Melanie Peters was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Women’s Diving Athlete of the Week, winning both springboard events as the Violets (10-0) defeated The College of New Jersey, 169-128, in their final home meet of the season on January 26.

In the win, Peters captured both the one-meter (273.30) and three-meter dives (250.05).

This is the third UAA Athlete of the Week Honor of the season for the San Antonio, TX, native.

Peters and the unblemished Violets return to action Saturday, February 2, against Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY.
