
Women's Swimming Edges Out New Paltz at Palladium

The New York University women's swimming team narrowly defeated SUNY New Paltz 106-99 to improve to 4-0 on the season, Tuesday, October 30, at the Palladium Athletic Facility in Manhattan.
Sophomore Kasey McCaffrey was the Violets only individual double-winner, taking the 1,000 freestyle in a time of 10:49.12 and the 500 freestyle in 5:19.07.
Fellow sophomore Patricia Beck continued her impressive season, winning the 200 IM in a time of 2:13.91. Beck was also a member of the winning 200 medley relay team (1:52.82) along with freshman Maria Woodman, freshman Chelsea Pfohl, and junior Cait Albrecht.
Pfohl also took the 100 butterfly in a time of 58.84.
The Violets return to the pool this Saturday, November 3, when they host Rowan University at Palladium for Family and Alumni Day.
