Though a new year has begun, the winning ways for New York University men's swimming and diving team has remained unchanged. The Violets defeated the Springfield College Pride 139-104 today at the Palladium Athletic Facility to move to 7-0 on the season.

Senior captain Brad Thornton was also impressive, helping the 400-yard medley relay team, along with senior captain Matt Ferreira, senior Andrew Guyton and junior Andrew Lardiere to victory in 3:37.92. Thornton also won the 200 IM (2:00.20) and anchored the winning 400 free relay team (3:13.19) with Lardiere, senior Chris Wolff and sophomore Eric Pcholinski.
